A Study On The Publishing Of Novels By YouZheng Publishing House In Late Qing Dynasty

You Zheng Publishing House was a competitive new publishing house in the late Qing Dynasty.It published the novels of Bao Tianxiao,Chen Jinghan and other famous writers and had a far-reaching influence.This paper focuses on the characteristics of You Zheng Publishing House in the aspect of novel publishing,which is separated into the following three parts:In the first part,on the basis of combing the founding history and publishing mode of You Zheng Publishing House,it is placed in the "literary field" of novels in the late Qing Dynasty.Combining with the author Di Baoxian’s novel view and the characteristics of the first novel,the author analyzes the novel publishing idea of You Zheng Publishing House to meet the needs of public readers.In the second part,the author group of Youzheng Publishing House as the starting point,through in-depth analysis of classic novels published by Youzheng Publishing House such as Baiyunta,Konggu Orchid,Plum Blossom Fall and their influence,to explore the interactive relationship between Youzheng Books Company’s novel publishing and the novel market of the late Qing Dynasty.The third part,through the comparison with Shenbao Library,the Commercial Press and other publishing houses,the You Zheng Publishing House with "reward novel" as the representative of the commercial novel solicitation activities,at the same time expounds the "novel series" series of publishing cluster effect,and discusses the "noisy" characteristic novel marketing.In the process of research,through in-depth analysis of the novel text and combined with the communication phenomenon before and after the publication of the novel,the interactive relationship between the new publishing house represented by You Zheng Publishing House and the development of novels in the late Qing Dynasty in the special period of social transformation was analyzed.
