Study On The Construction Of Rural Public Culture Space From The Perspective Of The Space Production Theory

The construction of rural public culture has always been a cause to which our Party and State attach great importance.With the proposition and implementation of rural revitalization strategy,"rural cultural revitalization",as an important content and a powerful support for rural revitalization,has also become a spotlight issue of the time.The "Rural Library" project is a typical case of rural public culture construction,and the history in the past twenty years has revealed an important and effective dimension of understanding rural culture,from the spatial perspective.By analyzing the history of Chinese rural public culture space construction,we may be able to find clues and methods for rural public culture construction,and provide valuable reference and suggestions for achieving the goal of rural cultural revitalization.Taking Lefebvre’s space production theory as the research perspective,this paper adopts qualitative research methods such as documentary research method,observation method and in-depth interview to review the construction history of rural public cultural space and inspect the realistic performance of Rural Library project.By reviewing the history and current status of rural public cultural space in China and analyzing the construction of all the subjects in the space of rural library from the ternary structure of space theory,the paper finally summarizes the value,concept,function,goal and core meaning of rural public cultural space’s construction in the new era.First,since the founding of the New China,the organizational vein of rural public cultural space’s construction has been basically top-down in China.Socialism with Chinese characteristics,the market economy and rural culture traditions have together constructed a complex mechanism for rural public cultural space,while trends like space digitization and diversification have further triggered a crisis of subjectivity among rural residents,placing the subject of rural cultural reproduction in the state of silence.Secondly,by investigating the advanced models of rural library,this paper proves the advancement and validity of the space theory viewpoint again.Base on above study,this paper provides a practical way to explore the space reproduction model of rural public culture,and answers the question of how the space reproduction model can achieve the target of rural public culture reconstruction.Finally,based on the experience of rural public cultural space construction,such as Rural Library project,this paper constructs a space pattern of interactive rural public space cultural reproduction,in the form of embodied practice.It integrates rural human resources and organization resources in the space,and activates the endogenous power of rural public culture space production,to achieve selective inheritance and innovative development of rural public culture.Considering the construction of Chinese rural public culture space in space perspective,which can explain the situation of rural culture project’s landing problem and the transformation of rural culture modernization,as well as discovering the brand-new opportunity for the rural public culture space’s production.By exerting the superiority of the socialist system,promoting the reproduction of rural public cultural space,we can contribute to the realization of the rural revitalization goal.Ultimately,we can foresee a future scenario of rural public cultural space in which rural residents live happily,urban and rural areas develop in coordination and harmony,and socialist core values penetrate deeply into the countryside.
