With the continuous development of modernization and urbanization,ethnic minority martial arts,as a living cultural tradition,are facing transformation,extinction,or the brink of extinction.China’s documentary sector is experiencing a surge in growth.Factors such as the industry’s steady expansion,the increasing variety of audio-visual media,the enhanced aesthetic literacy of the audience,and the growing discernment of viewers have all contributed to the emergence of a plethora of documentary films across multiple genres in recent times.These documentaries not only inherit and disseminate traditional Chinese martial arts but also showcase the excellent cultural traditions of Chinese ethnic minorities to both domestic and international audiences.This study takes representative ethnic minority martial arts documentaries as the research subject,analyzing their artistic expression,image-making process,and cultural expression,and discussing the presentation of audio-visual language and thematic content expression.The aim is to propose the optimal path and method for promoting the image-making of ethnic minority martial arts,providing practical suggestions for the creation and development of Chinese ethnic minority documentaries and intangible cultural heritage documentaries.The first chapter is an introduction,which introduces the research background and significance of this article,as well as a summary of martial arts documentaries.Chapter Two aims to explore the development history of Chinese ethnic minority martial arts documentaries,discussing the development stages of Chinese martial arts documentaries in the context of national socio-economic development.Based on this foundation,the study defines Chinese ethnic minority martial arts documentaries and delves into their historical development,value,and significance,laying the groundwork for further exploration of the creative path for ethnic minority martial arts documentaries.Chapter Three unfolds the study of themes and subject presentation in Chinese ethnic minority martial arts documentaries,analyzing in detail the themes and subjects of these documentaries.At the same time,the personal graduation work "Bouyei Martial Arts" is analyzed in terms of subject matter and theme,elaborating on the understanding and cognition of documentary creation.Chapter Four analyzes the audio-visual expression of image-making in Chinese ethnic minority martial arts documentaries,studying the audio-visual language expression of these documentaries,and discussing the relationship between film and television language use and the inheritance of ethnic minority martial arts from the perspectives of camera movement and sound presentation.Simultaneously,the audio-visual expression in the personal graduation work "Bouyei Martial Arts" is discussed from the aspects of image and sound expression.Through the in-depth study and analysis of the above chapters,this paper strives to provide beneficial guidance and inspiration for the creation of Chinese ethnic minority martial arts documentaries,contributing to the inheritance and development of Chinese ethnic minority martial arts culture.At the same time,it is hoped that this research can have a positive impact on the creation and development of Chinese intangible cultural heritage documentaries,providing valuable reference for promoting the dissemination and development of Chinese martial arts culture. |
