| The original Chinese national opera "The Ballad of Canal" was premiered at the China National Center for the Performing Arts in 2012 and caused a sensation in society.The work was created based on materials of Chinese opera,local folk songs and folk culture using ethnic pentatonic mode,and covers various performance forms such as overture,recitative,aria,chorus,and reprise."The Ballad of Canal" has become an iconic work integrating drama and music,ethnic and international elements and has gained great popularity among people due to its unique charm and artistic innovation.The present study takes “Qinsheng,is everything alright with you?”(Hereafter referred to as “Qinsheng”)as an example.The study introduced the background of "The Ballad of Canal" and analyzed the music characteristics of “Qinsheng” by collecting the relevant materials and analyzing its music properties.In the singing analysis of“Qinsheng”,this study performed a systematic analysis in the aspect of performing art,focusing on the emotion expression in the articulation and timbre control,and performed an inductive comparison of different artistic treatments in the singing of Jia Lei,Lida Wang and Zhe Wang three artists.Based on the aforementioned analysis,the author also shared the teaching principles of emotion expression in the vocal techniques,articulation and stage performance,and explained the practical application of the singing characteristics of the work.The aim is to help young singers learn the opera excerpt more easily by emphasizing the key points in singing,figuring out the technical weakness and explaining the difficulties in the singing performance of the work. |
