Research On Mao Zedong’s Strategic Thought Of "Third Front" Construction

In the 1960s,the whole world was under the shadow of the Cold War.Sino-Soviet relations and Sino-American relations became strained.In this context,China needs to have a strong national defense capability to cope with external challenges and pressures,but also need to promote national economic development,to ensure that the country in emergency production,transportation and supply.Therefore,Mao Zedong and the CPC Central Committee put forward the strategic thought of "three-front" construction and carried out a large-scale infrastructure construction in the "three-front" area.The implementation of the strategic thought of "three fronts" construction has effectively strengthened the national defense and military strength of our country,maintained national security,improved our country’s international status,promoted the industrialization and modernization process in the "three fronts" area and laid the foundation for our country’s modern industry.Because of the historical and confidential nature of the "third line" construction,the younger generation of our country have little understanding of the "third line" construction at present,but the precious material and spiritual wealth left by the "third line" construction can not be forgotten,and it still has great reference value for the current socialist modernization.Based on this,this thesis,with the theme of "Research on Mao Zedong’s Strategic Thought on ’Third Front’ Construction",makes comprehensive use of literature research method,systematic research,comprehensive analysis and materialist dialectics to start with the international and domestic situations facing our country at that time.Based on the Marxist-Leninist concept of war readiness and the traditional Chinese military strategy theory,this thesis makes a comprehensive analysis of the formation and development of Mao Zedong’s strategic thought on the "third front" construction.This thesis probes into the concrete contents and implementation of the strategic thought of "three fronts" construction,and summarizes the contemporary value of it.This thesis altogether includes five chapters.The introduction introduces the significance of the thesis from the historical,academic and realistic point of view,summarizes the current domestic and foreign research status of Mao Zedong’s "Third Line" construction strategy,explores the research ideas and methods,puts forward the innovation of the thesis,and finally explains the related concepts mentioned in the thesis.The second chapter specifically combs the formation and development of Mao Zedong’s "third line" construction strategic thought.It mainly includes the time background,thought source and formation process of Mao Zedong’s "three fronts" construction strategic thought.The third chapter puts forward the main contents of Mao Zedong’s "third line" construction strategic thought.Mao Zedong made the strategic plan of preparedness,the strategic decision of people’s war and the strategic goal of balanced development of the regional economy.And will be one of the ideas and specific action programs into the "third line" of the overall framework.The fourth chapter mainly from the political level,the economic level,the cultural level,the social level,concrete elaboration Mao Zedong "the third front" the strategic thought practice system.The fifth chapter discusses the practical and theoretical value of Mao Zedong’s "third line" construction strategy.
