Ali Four Rivers Serie

Rivers have played an significant role in the history of human civilization: Any big river seemingly is the origin,reproduction,and settlement area of human beings.The four major rivers in Ngari on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,known as the " Asian Water Towers" nurtured the famous civilization such as Xiangxiong and Guge,which vaguely showed its glory and magnificence to people from the ruins of the existing walls.Moreover,rivers play a crucial role in the communication and integration of different cultures.However,most studies related to the four major rivers in Ali focus on the unique cultural charm formed by long-term historical cultivation in different river basins,which belongs to the academic research at the theoretical level.As far as I know,there are not many achievements studied from the artistic creation perspective,and there are even fewer achievements,which combined contemporary art theory with practical artistic creation,there are only a few murals,illustrations,or sketches.Under the historical,geographical,and cultural background of the four rivers,I try to take a folk song in praise of the four rivers as the entry point,combining personal childhood life experience,and adopting diversified expression techniques such as modern painting and visual art to focus on the four rivers of Ngari,from the macro to a micro level,from river and civilization,river and land,river and environment,river and self.To express my understanding and thinking of the four rivers in Ngari.
