Since the September 18 th Incident in 1931,the Japanese army quickly occupied the northeast of China and established the puppet Manchukuo. All parts of the northeast gradually fell to the ground. It was not until the end of the 14-year war of resistance on September 2,1945,that the new literature was able to "see the light of the day".During this period, the new literature was difficult to grow under the unprecedented disaster and resistance.Due to the special military deployment and political planning made by the Japanese invaders in the Northeast, the occupied area in the Northeast has also become a special historical time and space unique from other occupied areas. The harsh political environment and social atmosphere like the iron window make the progressive intellectuals have to use circuitous tactics to find another "channel" for literary creation. And prose,a flexible style that can be written from "the sky to the ants",just gives writers a window to breathe. The prose of this period can truly record the real life and spiritual state of the colonial people, and also presents a unique literary survival strategy and development trend. This paper selects the prose in the northeast enemy occupied areas as the research object, and takes newspapers and magazines with great influence in this period as the historical data basis. On the basis of collecting scattered original prose materials, this paper combs and interprets the prose text, deeply excavates the theme and artistic characteristics of the prose in the northeast enemy occupied areas, and analyzes the writers’ difficult literary creation process and psychological activities under the high-pressure environment; And using the space contrast method, the works of the northeast exile writers and the works of the northeast resident writers are compared and analyzed, and strive to more objectively and completely restore the unique style and features of this particular historical period and specific region. In addition to the introduction, the main part of the paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter analyzes the generating context of prose in the enemy occupied areas of Northeast China. This paper describes the external environment of prose in the enemy occupied areas of Northeast China from two aspects: historical context and cultural context. The enemy occupied areas in the northeast were deeply involved in the strife and devastation of the Japanese army’s iron hoofs. The Japanese army deliberately concocted the "puppet Manchukuo",controlled the northeast from both military and ideological aspects, wantonly banned progressive books and magazines, and attracted weak willed writers and scholars. Therefore, the suffocating air and unusually difficult living environment at that time always affected the emotions and ideas of the writers in the enemy occupied areas in the northeast. The second chapter focuses on the writers’ subject, explores the writers’ creative mentality and ideas, and believes that behind the writers’ different literary attitudes is the common literary adherence. In the colonial context, the writers made different choices. On the one hand, the writers of the literary genre inherited the tradition of new literary realism and advocated realism; On the other hand,Yiwenzhi writers advocate the "purity" of literature and express the pursuit of pure literature and art.But behind these ideas, they come to the same goal by different routes, which reflects the common adherence of writers to the development of new literature and the sense of mission of "recording history by literature".In this chapter, through the prose collections, biographies and works published by relevant researchers of the writers in the enemy occupied areas in Northeast China,we can understand the psychological and living conditions of the writers, and deeply analyze the causes of their writing styles. The third chapter focuses on the text level, summarizes the text core of the prose in the enemy occupied areas of Northeast China, and explores the changes in the theme of the text caused by the writers’ spiritual changes under the turbulent situation. In the prose of the enemy occupied areas in Northeast China, family and country feelings have always been the core theme expression of writers, and the concentrated display of historical consciousness and intellectual identity of writers. At the same time, the spiritual suffering and realistic oppression made the writers show deep introspection and strong attachment to their hometown. It not only records the living conditions of the writers during the Anti Japanese War,but also shows the subjective thinking of the literati on history and reality. The fourth chapter elaborates the artistic characteristics of prose in the enemy occupied areas of Northeast China from three aspects: aesthetic characteristics, expression skills and language structure. From the aesthetic point of view, the prose lyricism in the enemy occupied areas in the Northeast contains the connotation of "feeling the time and the country",which is closely connected with the background of the times and the political context. Therefore, most of the prose in this period has the characteristics of documentary and criticism. From the perspective of expression skills, most writers in the enemy occupied areas in the Northeast used dream narration and metaphorical discourse strategies to express words that could not be directly expressed. In terms of language structure, the writers used the writing methods of introducing ancient poetry images into the text and poetic structure into the text, which made the prose in the occupied areas of Northeast China show a poetic style. The fifth chapter is about the evaluation and reflection of prose in the enemy occupied areas in Northeast China. It believes that it is a small narrative in the big history, highlighting the continuation of cultural blood. On the one hand, the prose of the enemy occupied areas in the northeast is a part of modern prose, and the literature of the enemy occupied areas in the northeast is also a link in the development of the northeast literature, which provides more thinking for the later generations to comb and comprehensively observe the northeast and even Chinese literature. On the other hand, due to the cruel wartime environment and the scattered prose,as well as the uneven quality of the writers, the prose in the enemy occupied areas of Northeast China did show some limitations, which led to the high and low artistic level of the works. The conclusion mainly focuses on "literary creation in the colonial context",and briefly discusses that no one can escape the background of the times and political conventions to create in the then Northeast occupied areas and even other occupied areas.Up to now, prose in the enemy occupied areas in Northeast China has room to be reexamined and excavated. As a revolutionary literary heritage, these works are not only the kindling of literature in troubled times, but also a mirror of the times.
