Character Shaping And Singing Case Study Of "Sister Jiang" In The Opera "Sister Jiang"

The opera "Sister Jiang" is one of the most successful operas since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,which has been rehearsed by a number of performance groups and colleges and universities since its inception in the 1960s.The "Red Rock Spirit" and artistic value embodied in "Sister Jiang" have influenced generations of people and attracted many music students to study and study in depth.In 2021,Changchun University rehearsed the opera for the centenary of the founding of the Party,and this article takes the author’s personal experience of playing nine "Sister Jiang" as the starting point to analyze the character image shaping and main singing segments of"Sister Jiang".The main part of the thesis is five chapters:the first chapter summarizes the opera"Sister Jiang" from the background of creation and the author profile;the second chapter analyzes the image characteristics of Sister Jiang through the characteristics of the characters and the emotions of the characters;the third chapter analyzes the singing sections "Revolutionary Fighting Zhiru Steel","Bury Your Jiang Family Dynasty in Laughter" and "The People of Wuzhou Laugh Together" from the three aspects of musical characteristics,emotional connotation and singing processing;the fourth chapter explains how to shape the characters of "Sister Jiang" through body,language and music The fifth chapter provides the author’s harvest and experience in stage practice,and strives to provide some materials for professional research fields and ethnic vocal lovers to learn from.
