With the awakening of employees’ self-awareness,they increasingly advocate the presentation and realization of self-value,and no longer passively accept the organization’s employment arrangements and working conditions.Leader-centered leadership is difficult to cope with the changes in the organization’s management environment,and it is urgent to find a leadership style that is more in line with the needs of The Times.Secure-base leadership can cultivate employees’ altruism and exploration spirit and make them more willing to implement helpful behaviors for organizational and personal development.In the era of knowledge economy,it has been normal for employees to work cooperatively in teams.Employees’ helping behavior can enhance the effect of team cooperation,thus improving organizational performance and realizing sustainable development.In the era of knowledge economy,it has been normal for employees to work cooperatively in teams.Employees’ helping behavior can enhance the effect of team cooperation,thus improving organizational performance and realizing sustainable development.Based on conservation of resource theory and regulatory fit theory,this paper studies the literature of secure-base leadership,psychological capital,employee helping behavior,promotion regulatory focus and prevention regulatory focus,and studies the internal logical relationship between secure-base leadership and employee helping behavior from the perspective of individual employees.From the perspective of employees ‘ individual behavior,the paper researches the internal logical relationship between secure-base leadership and employee helping behavior.This paper also explores the mediating effect of psychological capital on the relationship between secure-base leadership and employee helping behavior,and further studies the moderating effect of promotion regulatory focus and prevention regulatory focus on the relationship between secure-base leadership and employee helping behavior,which constructs a theoretical model of secure-base leadership and employee helping behavior.On this basis,the scale was designed and the collection of data were carried out,and 294 effective research data were obtained.AMOS and SPSS were used for statistical analysis.The results show that secure-base leadership can significantly improve psychological capital,and then promotes employee helping behavior,the higher the employees’ promotion regulatory focus can significantly enhance the effect of secure-base leadership on enhancing employees’ psychological capital,and also strengthen the effect of secure-base leadership on promoting employee helping behavior through psychological capital,but the prevention regulatory focus plays a less significant role in it.This study enriches and deepens theoretical support of secure-base leadership,providing theoretical insights and managerial implications for organizations and managers to adopt secure-base leadership style to stimulate employee helping behavior.This study enriches relevant studies on secure-base leadership,employee helping behavior,psychological capital,promotion regulatory focus and prevention regulatory focus,and further expands the applicable scope of secure-base leadership.Besides enriching the theoretical research on the influence of secure-base leadership on employee psychology and behavior and employee helping behavior,this paper also provides practical guidance for the organization and its managers to adopt effective leadership style to stimulate employees’ helping behavior and guarantee the sustainable development of the organization. |
