Commentary On Xiang Jingyu’s Activities In Shanghai Executive Ministry Of The Chinese Nationalist Party

Xiang Jingyu was the only female founder of the Communist Party of China,the earliest female Marxist and theoretician,the pioneer and outstanding activist of the Chinese women’s movement,and was praised by Mao Zedong as a "model women leader".During the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation,Xiang Jingyu joined in the Kuomintang as a Communist Party member.Appointed by the CPC Central Committee to participate in the Shanghai Executive Department of the Kuomintang,Xiang Jingyu served as an assistant to the Youth Women’s Department of the Executive Department,and was actually responsible for promoting the work of the Ministry of Women and the National Revolutionary Movement.As the leader of the CPC Central Committee who is in charge of the women’s movement,Xiang Jingyu participated in the activities of the CPC Shanghai District Committee and District Committee at the same time,and took charge of leading the women’s movement in the Shanghai Executive Department of the Kuomintang.Historical facts show that during working with the Shanghai Executive Department of the Kuomintang,In addition to participating in activities organized by the Shanghai Executive Department,Xiang Jingyu was also responsible for organizing as well as leading women’s movements,include leading Shanghai women workers movement,developing female party members,propagandizing women’s liberation as the editor-in-chief of Women’s Weekly,leading the civilian education campaign,holding civilian schools or night schools for workers,fostering revolutionary forces,promoting the development of the workers’ movement,guiding the female student movement,assisting female school students and so on.Besides,in the name of the Ministry of Youth and Women of the Shanghai Executive Department and the Shanghai Women’ s Movement Committee,she led and organized the National Assembly facilitation meeting.On the one hand she participated in the Shanghai National Congress Convening,on the other hand to launched preparations for the establishment of Shanghai Women’s National Congress Convening.She was not only the initiator of the Shanghai National Congress Convening Campaign,but also the founder and leader of the Shanghai Women’s Congress Convening Campaign,and was the main leader of the National Women’s Congress Convening Campaign.Xiang Jingyu has made many achievements in the national revolutionary movement,especially in the women’s movement,and has made distinguished contributions to the development of the Chinese women’s movement.She is an excellent leader and model leader of the Chinese women’s movement.And she led the women’s movement in the Shanghai Executive Department of the Kuomintang,accepted the leadership of the Kuomintang Central Committee as well as its Ministry of Women,and also followed the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.She truly implemented the goal of implementing the Kuomintang-Communist Joint Front in developing the national revolution movement,especially the women’s movement.
