A Study Of The Non-animal Sacrifices Of Oracle Bone Inscriptions

"State affairs are in sacrifice and military affairs",There are many sacrificial quotations in the inscriptions of oracle bones in Yin ruins,which are one of the main materials for us to study the religious culture of Shang Dynasty.This paper mainly sorted out and studied the non-animal sacrifices found in the inscriptions of Yin Ruins.In this paper,"animal" refers to animal sacrifice and human sacrifice,while "non-animal" refers to other articles used in sacrifice,including food,shells and jade,Musical Instruments and utensils,etc.This paper is mainly divided into the following six chapters for preliminary investigation and discussion:The first chapter,"Introduction",mainly explains the reason for selecting the topic,the research object,the research ideas and methods,and the current research situation of non-animal sacrificial items in the academic circle.In the second chapter,the food used for sacrifice is divided into two parts: drink and food.In the drink part,the author discusses the way of sacrifice,the object of sacrifice and the collocation with other sacrificial products of Chang and Li.In the food part,the author discusses the use of food,brine,grain,millet,sorghum and rice in sacrifice.The third chapter,"shells and jade",makes a detailed combing and summarizing of shells used for sacrifice.The items included in the discussion include shells,jade,jue,gui shu,qi,lang,bi,zan,and,.The fourth chapter,"Using Music",explores the use of Musical Instruments in sacrificial offerings in Shang Dynasty,classifying the instruments in the oracle as percussion,wind and stringed instruments,and comprehensively investigating their sacrificial methods,objects of sacrifice,and their use with other instruments.The preliminary discussion was conducted on eight instruments: drum,Tao drum,li,xi,yon,yu,yue and se.The fifth chapter,"utensils",divides the sacrificial vessels seen in the provenance into eating vessels and wine vessels.The eating vessels include ding,yan,li and gu,wine vessels include jue,you and fou.This paper makes a comprehensive study on the sacrificial use of these vessels respectively.The sixth chapter analyzes and discusses other unidentified sacrificial objects,including pin,chun,hu,,、.In the above chapters,we discuss the sacrificial usage and usage of this article in different sections.In the process of analysis and induction,related archaeological materials and handed down documents are combined to discuss the situation of sacrificial offering and its use as much as possible.
