The tourism performance industry is an important component of the tourism industry,which is a powerful means for major scenic spots and tourist destinations to attract tourists,increase overnight stays,and promote the transformation of "tourist transit areas" into "tourist destinations".Currently,almost all major scenic spots and tourist destinations in China have developed related tourism performance projects,and the types,themes,and performance methods of tourism performance are constantly enriched and innovated.However,There are still problems such as uneven quality of tourism performances and poor tourist experience.The development of tourism performances still needs further optimization and improvement,and there is an urgent need for theoretical and systematic academic research to provide theoretical and practical support for the development of tourism performances.From the perspective of tourists’ perception,this paper takes the live tourism performance "Border Town" and the theater tourism performance "Charm of Xiangxi" in western Hunan as examples,and takes the relevant network comments of the public comment website and Meituan website as the data source.Through literature analysis,Grounded theory methods,and Nvivo 12 plus software,this paper uses three-level coding of comment data to get 18 initial categories,10 main categories and 4 core categories,and analyzes the number of reference points The proportion and other factors get the perception intensity of each category(dimension),and analyze the relationship between each category according to the tourist perception theory and the embodied cognition theory,build the tourist perception model of tourism performance,use the "cognition emotion intention" theory to explain the model,and further explore the optimization path of tourism performance on this basis.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Tourism performance tourists’ perception includes 10 main categories:performance quality,service management,tourists themselves,environmental factors,emotional perception,value perception,physical perception,post evaluation,post behavior intention,and post behavior.Among them,performance quality,service management,tourists themselves,and environmental factors are also core categories.(2)According to the tourist perception theory and embodied cognition theory,this paper analyzes the relationship between various categories(dimensions)and constructs a tourist perception model of tourism performance.From the model,we can see that the performance quality,service management,tourists themselves and environmental factors are the basic supporting factors of tourism performance tourists’ perception,which affect the formation of emotional perception,value perception,physical perception and post evaluation;Emotional perception,value perception,and physical perception are the core mediating factors of tourism performance tourists’ perception,and they interact with each other and work together to influence post evaluation;Post evaluation,post behavior intention,and post behavior are the behavioral outcome factors perceived by tourism performance tourists.Post evaluation affects post behavior intention,and post behavior intention affects post behavior.(3)According to the theory of "cognition emotion intention",the model can be explained as follows: performance quality,service management,tourists themselves,and environmental factors can be classified as cognitive level,emotional perception,value perception,and physical perception belong to emotional level,and post evaluation,post behavior intention,and post behavior belong to intention level,Cognitive factors can directly affect intentional factors or indirectly affect intentional factors by influencing emotional factors.(4)Due to the four core categories of performance quality,service management,tourists themselves,and environmental factors,which are the premise and foundation of other categories,this paper proposes optimization paths such as improving the quality of tourism performance,improving tourism performance services,adjusting tourist factors,and optimizing the viewing environment,in order to improve the quality of tourism performance and thereby improve tourist experience satisfaction.(5)High quality tourism performances can promote the physical and mental health of tourists by creating a favorable environment and providing them with a pleasant viewing experience both physically and mentally;The tourism industry brings multiple benefits to tourists’ psychological and physical well-being by creating a favorable tourism environment and organizing healthy tourism activities,thereby comprehensively promoting the physical and mental health development of tourists.This article constructs a tourism performance tourist perception model by studying the perception dimensions and intensity of tourism performance tourists.It explores the formation and mechanism of tourism performance tourist perception,which has certain theoretical significance.At the same time,this article explores the optimization path of tourism performance and puts forward corresponding optimization suggestions,which has certain practical value for optimizing and improving tourism performance and enhancing tourist experience in Xiangxi and other regions.
