On The Image Construction Of Historical Memory Through Oral History Documentaries

History is the root of the nation and the source of ideas.This paper takes oral history documentaries as the research object,and deeply explores the image construction of historical memory in oral history documentaries from the perspective of individuals.After clarifying the concepts of oral history,oral history documentary and historical memory,the tripartite relationship between oral and oral history documentary and historical memory is studied.the identity turn of the narrator as the bearer of historical memory in oral history documentaries;Oral history documentaries use the image characteristics of audiovisual performance and narrative strategy to carry out the concrete construction of historical memory,and combined with the examples of oral history documentaries broadcast in recent years,analyze how memory supplements history and writes history in moving images.The history has entered the homes of ordinary people from the unattainable temples,and through the carrier of oral history documentaries,historical witnesses and witnesses have begun to be able to make their voices,and the personal historical memories gathered to form a free and pluralistic historical side,and audiovisual images have become an important means to re-read traditional history.Oral history documentarians use oral narration methods to excavate historical details in personal memory,so that "historical memory" and "historical history books" can confirm each other,jointly restore the original historical appearance,and strive to arouse people’s new understanding of history.On this basis,the value and lack of oral history documentaries in the process of constructing historical memory are summarized,so that the history in the oral narrator’s memory reproduced by the creator by oral narration is more true and accurate,and the historical deviation caused by the instability of the narrator’s memory and the unevenness of the creator’s ability to grasp history is avoided,so that the audience can get closer to the historical facts and accept a more accurate historical spirit and historical emotions.Using oral narration methods to preserve personal history,using video features to construct social memory in personal memory,guiding the audience to explore personal historical memory in multi-layer interface history,and re-understanding history is also the value of oral history documentaries.
