A Study Of Marx’s Idea Of "The Community Of Free Men”

The world’s unprecedented changes have brought us new opportunities and challenges,and we need to re-examine the issue of human survival and development in the context of these changes.To this end,Xi Jinping has proposed to promote the building of a community of human destiny,calling on the people of the world to unite and form a community of linked destinies to tackle the challenges together.The"community of human destiny" is the theoretical implementation of the idea of the"community of free men" in contemporary society.This article is based on a holistic vision of the history of Marxism to understand the idea of the "community of free men".The idea of the "community of free men" is a scientific idea with freedom as its core and the free and comprehensive development of each individual as its value guide."It means a future community in which the state no longer exists,in which private ownership is completely eliminated,in which there are no classes,but rather a collection of free people,in which everyone can develop freely.But the realisation of a better society does not happen overnight;it must go through a long and tortuous process.The community of human destiny,with its inherent concept of mutual cooperation and mutual benefit,and its proactive behavior in assuming international responsibility,is similar to the idea of the "community of free men".The idea of the"community of free men" is therefore of great significance and provides a fundamental value guide for the establishment of a community of human destiny.This paper systematically examines the idea of the "association of free men" on the basis of Marx’s texts from various periods,as follows: Firstly,it clarifies the theoretical origins of the idea of the "association of free men".The idea of the "free association of persons" first originated in ancient Greece,and was later influenced by the ideas of German classical philosophy and English and French ideal socialism,and finally formed under the direct influence of Hess.Secondly,the development process of the idea of the "free association of man" is explained.The idea of the "association of free men" has gone through three stages: the germination stage,the establishment stage and the maturity stage.Thirdly,the basic connotation of the concept of "free association of persons" is explained.The "free man" is a real person engaged in material production,while the "community" is a collection of all free people,and the two complement each other as a historical social coexistence.Fourthly,after systematically analysing and studying the basic concepts and conditions for the realisation of the idea of the "association of free persons",the concept of the"community of human destiny" is proposed.The idea of "community of free people"and the idea of "community of human destiny" are analyzed in a comparative manner,and it is concluded that under practical conditions,the idea of "community of human destiny" transcends and further develops the idea of "community of free people.The idea of "community of human destiny" is inherited from the idea of "community of free men".Finally,based on the development of human society as a whole,the theoretical and practical significance of the idea of the "community of free men" is analysed in relation to the current situation of socialist construction in China.Promoting the birth of a community of human destiny is the important significance of the "United Free People",and it also contributes to a correct practical path for the liberation and development of human society as a whole.
