Chinese path to modernization was put forward in response to the drawbacks of western modernization.While western modernization created a rich material world,it lost the spiritual pursuit of people.It is in this sense that Chinese path to modernization is to inject the cultural spirit gene of the Chinese nation into the context of modernization.Looking back at the development process of excellent traditional Chinese culture,the ideal personality of benevolence shaped by Confucius’ concept of benevolence has become the spiritual code of generations of Chinese people.Therefore,standing at the node of the new era of Chinese path to modernization,it is necessary to regain the spiritual core of Confucius’ concept of benevolence,plant the benevolent spiritual power of cultural education,and build the foundation for the implementation of the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people in the new era.Based on the above considerations,the research context of this article is as follows:Grasping the ideological significance of Confucius’ concept of benevolence is the primary meaning of this article.Firstly,starting from the core essence of Confucius’ concept of benevolence and love,grasp the profound essence of benevolence and love in historical tracing,and deeply understand the ideological essence of life emotions in interpreting Confucius’ concept of benevolence with "love".Secondly,based on the grasp of the core essence,explain the specific connotations of Confucius’ concept of benevolence,filial piety,benevolence and propriety,loyalty and forgiveness.Finally,in the review and reflection of Confucius’ concept of benevolence and love,the hierarchical structure of benevolence and love,which gradually expands from the inside out,is further summarized,providing research soil for subsequent value analysis.Exploring the educational value of Confucius’ concept of benevolence is the core topic of this article.Firstly,starting from the goal of educating people,exploring the significance of benevolent culture,benevolent morality,and benevolent spirit in shaping benevolent personality enriches the ideal goal of shaping benevolent personality.Secondly,focusing on the demands of educating people in reality,facing the moral dilemmas of "family internal friction","imbalance of power and justice",and "leniency towards oneself and others" that arise in reality,and grasping the positive value of Confucius’ concept of benevolence in resolving moral dilemmas in reality.Finally,based on the path of education,from following external norms to stimulating internal emotions,and finally to achieving the realm of benevolence,Confucius’ concept of benevolence has expanded the achievable path for the development of human ideology and morality.Exploring the practical transformation of the concept of benevolence is the focus of this article.Firstly,this article follows the logic of the unity of history and reality,clarifying the principles of the transformation of Confucius’ concept of benevolence into reality in the context of the new era.It adheres to the fundamental guidance of Marxism,based on the tremendous changes in the context of the times,and promotes the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional concepts of benevolence.Secondly,in light of the current moral dilemma,we should link the theoretical transformation space of Confucius’ concept of benevolence into ideological and political education in the new era.Finally,through the methods of cultivating people through emotions,inspiring by examples,and self reflection,we will further implement the results of the transformation of benevolence into the practice of moral education,and comprehensively promote the transformation of Confucius’ concept of benevolence into the times.
