The scientization and modernization of ideological and political education can’t do without its advancing with times. The advancing with times of ideological and political education work, of course, need to face the new era requires and problems. The development of the socialist market economy, has brought some problems to the current ideological and political education. More attention to the main body of the natural personality’s education requirements and recessivation trend of ideological and political education put forward a new challenge to ideological and political education methods. Lao Tze’s ideological and moral education thoughts as the ancient Chinese history of ideological and moral education of unique thought foundation, has obvious implications for the work of current ideological and political education.The thought of “Education Without Saying” is a classic expression of Lao Tze ideological and moral education. To explore its thought contents and important revelations, has advantage to the modern transformation of the traditional Taoist ideological and moral education, and provides important resources for the modernization of contemporary ideological and political education.This thesis consists of five parts. The connotation interpretation of“Education Without Saying”thought of Lao Tzu consists of three parts,namely emphasizing the “modeling” of educators, attaching great importance to the educatee’s “self-enlightenment”, and requiring education should follow the way of nature. And also we can reconstruct the inner structure of Lao Tze’s thought of“Education Without Saying”from the education object, content, purpose and requirements. The article using the ways of comparative analysis compared the thought of“Education Without Saying” of Lao Tze with the thought of Chuang tzu,Confucius and Mo tzu, aimed at accurate and comprehensive grasp inner essence of Lao Tze’s thought of “Education Without Saying”.Through surveying the current situation of the ideological and political education, from the perspective of ideological and political education to study the thought of“Education Without Saying”, excavating the contemporary value of this thought, is a very important practical and significant. Therefore, thinking and referring of it, can work for today’s ideological and political education practice, and provide beneficial enlightenment for our contemporary ideological and political education.From the aspect of educational aim, education method, the relationship between education object and educate to talk about implications, it will improve the methods of ideological and political education, make the methods of ideological and political education more suitable for the current situation. Finally, it will improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education and provide a feasible way of thinking.
