| The Ming and Qing Dynasties were an important period for the rise and development of local social forces,with significant changes in political system,economy,culture and social life.The provincial capital of Ganzhou,located in a remote area,was far away from the ruling center for a long time,but it developed rapidly with the rise of local scholars in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.During this period,the imperial examination of Gan Prefecture was prosperous,and there were161 scholars.Through sorting out the number,time and space distribution,it is found that the number of scholars in Ganzhou Prefecture in the Qing Dynasty is far more than that in the Ming Dynasty,and the situation of prefectures and towns in the Qing Dynasty is also similar,and their official career and life experiences are also very different.After the Jiajing Dynasty of the Ming Dynasty,there were many princes in Ganzhou who deeply studied Neo-Confucianism and actively participated in local political,economic and cultural activities.The flourishing period of Neo-Confucianism with Yangming studies as the main body appeared.By the Qing Dynasty,the family literature in Ganzhou capital prospered,leaving a large number of reference documents and historical materials for later generations,and also wrote a brilliant note in the local literature history of Ganzhou.As the local elite,the scholar group assumes the responsibility of social governance and cultural activities.In the Ming and Qing dynasties,the intellectuals in Ganzhou took an active part in local public affairs,such as participating in the construction of shrines and cities,and actively assisting officials to govern local society.It also promoted the development of local culture and education by participating in the construction of local Confucianism,academies,the writing of local records,writing books and other cultural construction activities.Therefore,taking the scholar groups and their social activities in this period as the object of study,from the perspective of their rise,the interaction between the scholar groups and the local areas can be analyzed to reveal the regional development context of Ganzhou capital more clearly,and to explore the general law of grass-roots governance in Ming and Qing Dynasties. |
