| In the nineteenth century,Impressionist painters brought color to an unprecedented height,and in the post-Impressionist period some painters began to use color to express their subjective emotions,while the Nabi school,which took over from Impressionism and Post-Impressionism,became famous as a school of spreading new artistic ideas.The Nabists advocated the "rearrangement" of nature in the realm of reason and sensibility,emphasizing the creation of a poetic reality,seeking expression in color and emotion,and creating an artistic language and aesthetic perspective that belonged to the Nabists.This group is known as the promoter of new ideas of its time,and the artistic aesthetics presented by this school of painting deeply influenced the development of the entire art world.The article focuses on the exploration of Nabist color expression in conjunction with Nabist paintings and theoretical analysis,exploring the painting space in the plane from the perspective of color,analyzing the inner emotions expressed by Nabist colors,and influencing the author’s creation after interpreting the works.The article is divided into three parts.The first part begins with a general overview of the emergence of the Nabi school and the artistic characteristics of color,and explores the various reasons for the formation of the school’s color characteristics.The second part focuses on a comprehensive analysis of the color expression space and the expression of emotion in the art works of the Nabi school,taking the paintings of Bonnard and Vial as examples,analyzing and understanding the contrast between warm and cold colors,the treatment of light and dark,and the size of the color block,and summarizing how the Nabi school painters Bonnard and Vial expressed the space beyond their vision in color,and learning and applying them to their own practice.The last part is in the combination of theory and practice,first from learning the expression of color in Nabist art,then to enlarge the spatial effect of color in creation,while exploring the combination of subjective color and emotion,hoping to seek the language of painting expression belonging to oneself in the stage of exploration,and to understand the essence of painting color more deeply in the road afterwards. |
