In recent years,it is not uncommon for life and health to be threatened by crazy restricted eating due to body anxiety, and restricted eating behaviors have also been valued by researchers. On the basis of previous studies, using eye tracking technology, female college students with body mass index in nonpsychological majors within the standard range were selected as participants, and the characteristics and patterns of attention bias of female college students with restricted eating under neutral-reference conditions and self-reference conditions were discussed, and the study included two experiments:Experiment 1 uses the point detection paradigm to explore the attention bias pattern of restricted eating female college students on fat and thin body shape diagrams under the reference conditions of neutral maps, and the experimental design is 3(group: restricted eating success group, failure group, control group)×3(picture type: thin body shape image-neutral image, fat body shape image-neutral image, neutral image-neutral image)×2(detection point: consistent,inconsistent)three-factor mixed experimental design. The results showed that compared with the neutral image, the participants had early attentional vigilance to the body shape image; Both the restricted eating failure group and the control group as a whole allocated more attention resources to the body shape image, but the restricted eating success group only allocated more attention resources to the lean body shape image, and did not allocate more attention resources to the fat body shape image.Experiment 2 uses the free browsing paradigm to explore the attention bias mode of female college students with restricted eating under self-referencing conditions to pay attention to fat and lean body shape maps, and the experimental design is 3(group: success group, failure group, control group)×3(image type:fat model body shape image-self body shape image, thin model body shape image-self body shape image, fat model body shape image-thin model body shape image)two-factor mixed experimental design. The results showed that compared with the self-body figure, the participants all had early attention avoidance to the fat and thin model body shape image, and the restricted eating failure group and the control group as a whole allocated less attention resources to the fat and thin model body shape image, but the restricted eating success group only paid less attention to the fat and thin model body shape image, and did not pay less attention to the thin o model body shape image. In summary, the following conclusions can be drawn:First, the attention bias component of female college students to fat and thin body shape image under neutral-reference conditions and self-reference conditions is not the same: under neutral-reference conditions, female college students can detect body shape diagrams faster and more frequently, and under self-reference conditions, pay attention to the occurrence of early female college students who are more avoidant of model body shape image, and are more alert and concerned about their own body shape image;Second, compared with restricted eating failure and normal diet female college students, restricted eating success female college students allocate more attention resources to the thin image, and pay more attention to the fat image, and further exploration found that the success of the restricted eating may be related to the individual’s attention to the lean body shape image. This study enriches the research results in related fields, and provides an intervention reference for guiding female college students to form a correct view of body and develop healthy eating habits, which has certain practical significance. |
