| "The Walker" is a guzheng work composed by guzheng player and educator Mr.Wei Jun in2015,based on Xi’an drum music "Brahman Yin" and Qiuzi music elements,the composer uses narrative musical expression,on the basis of inheriting traditional Chinese music style,integrating Western composition techniques and modern guzheng playing techniques to create,reproducing the thick sense and mystery of the ancient Silk Road,with historical connotations worthy of in-depth exploration,is an excellent zither music work.Because of its historical heritage,rich exotic style and infectious melody,this work has been welcomed by the majority of guzheng lovers and performers,and has become a popular repertoire in art examinations,competitions at all levels and concerts.This thesis will analyze the background and artistic characteristics of the zither song "The Walker",take the performance version of young performers Wei Yueming,Wang Shuai and Wang Yizhuo as the research object,analyze the differences in the performance book and performance style of different performance versions,and combine the author’s performance experience to discuss how to use unique performance techniques and expression styles to create a second time when performing the same work,so as to reflect the personalized performance expression of different performers on the basis of retaining the original taste of the work.Through this research,the author hopes to deeply understand the artistic connotation of this work,further appreciate the diversification of guzheng art and traditional Chinese music culture,so as to provide certain theoretical support for others to interpret this work and other modern compositions,and explore the living inheritance and innovative development direction of Chinese national music stage. |
