Female Writing In Wa Writer Yuan Zhizhong’s Novels

The female images of the Wa ethnic group in Yuan Zhizhong’s works show the unique vitality of the border ethnic group.Meanwhile,Yuan also has profound expressions about love and marriage relations,showing the awakening and liberation of the Wa women when the traditional marriage system is under the impact of modern society.This is not only due to Yuan Zhizhong’s perception of the real life situation of Wa women,but also due to her experience as the first generation of female intellectuals of the Wa ethnic group living in Han.By studying Yuan Zhizhong’s novels,I hope to dig deeply into the female writing content and show the unique charm of Yuan Zhizhong’s novels.The text is divided into the introduction and four chapters,adopts the way of close reading text,takes the female in Yuan Zhizhong’s works as the research object,studies the content of her female writing in multiple dimensions.Starting from the significance and value of the topic,the introduction clarifies the necessity and significance of filling the research vacancy.The first chapter is the origin of Yuan Zhizhong’s female writing,and expounds the reasons why Yuan Zhizhong takes women as the main body of her writing from two aspects: emotional-cultural regression and gender-traditional writing.The second chapter analyzes two kinds of female images in Yuan Zhizhong’s works,namely traditional Wa women and modern Wa women,combing them with specific works and summarizing relatively obvious characteristics of Wa women.The third chapter combs the female writing themes in Yuan Zhizhong’s works,divides the two themes of marriage--love,suffering--pain through the analysis of the specific content of the works,further explores the ideological content contained in the novels,and then grasms the overall creative thoughts of Yuan Zhizhong.The fourth chapter discusses the cultural implication behind Yuan Zhizhong’s female writing.First,the construction of female consciousness;Second,the pursuit of the secret land of the Wa ethnic group;Third,reexamine traditional ethnic culture.Following the Wa female writing tradition,Yuan Zhizhong’s works present the construction of female consciousness,while adding a modern theme,introducing a new scene of the city,showing the expansion of female writing space when tradition and modernity are combined,thus creating a new creative vision and atmosphere.Yuan Zhizhong’s works not only enrich the literature of Wa ethnic group,but also enrich the treasure house of the literature of ethnic minorities in China.
