The Intangible Cultural Heritage-the Design And Process Management Research Of The Song Brocade

The Song brocade is one of the three most well known brocades in China. It was mainlydedicated to the palace during the song dynasty for exclusive use. Due to its complicated process,extremely high cost and its unique elegant temperament, it has been beloved by the nobility. Atthat time, framed calligraphy and painting, handmade brocade box, bed flag, table flag played animportant role in the aristocratic life of the nobilities. Times have changed, so has the life style ofpeople back then, the production of song brocade became extremely low, and the cost was stillhigh, so under the impact of new technology and new material Song brocade faded gradually. Inaddition, under the protection of the national non-material cultural heritage, Suzhou firms beganto delve the technology to mechanize the manufacture of Song brocade, which greatly improvedthe production efficiency. The firms that design, research, develop and manufacture Songbrocade has started to grope the design and management of the non-material cultural heritagesong brocade, but it lacks the support of design process management theory. This study tried toprovide theoretical reference for the rationalization design of the management process of thenon-material cultural heritage Song brocade.This article is mainly focused on the preliminary process of the design and management ofthe Song brocade. Through the method of literature review and summary analysis of the existingdesign process management model, order to obtain the preliminary design process managementmodel I combined the characteristics of the Song brocade design in. On this basis, interviews andquestionnaires were conducted; the topics were mostly related to the design process managementin the enterprises, its current situation and the existing problems of the Song brocade. Finally,according to these problems I combined them with my own innovative experiment, designexperience and relevant research results in the field of Song brocade of preliminary design process model for further classification and refinement.At present, under the background of the industrialization, the research of Song brocadedesign process management is scarce, I hope that through this research there will be a reasonableprocess in its innovation, and also improve the production efficiency as well as reduce the waste.I hope this article can provide reference to the living state protection and the protection of otherindustrialization intangible cultural heritage.
