| The new curriculum standard puts forward higher requirements on senior high school students’ English.Students must not only have strong reading and writing ability,but also have considerable communicative ability,which is a big challenge for oral English teaching.In the process of English teaching,due to the influence of "gaokao baton",the development of students’ oral English is not satisfactory.At the same time,with the development of politics,economy,science and technology,the contradiction between man and nature is increasingly prominent,and people’s attention to ecology is also increasing.Then,ecology has gradually penetrated into various research fields,providing a new perspective for people’s research.Ecology of education breaks the inherent limitation of pedagogy and uses the theory related to ecology to find and solve the problems in teaching process.Recently,a number of researchers have started to apply the relevant theories of educational ecology to all kinds of subjects,and then construct the ecological classroom model.Therefore,under the influence of this concept,the author combines the ecological classroom theory with the oral English teaching in senior high schools to explore the problems and causes in the process of oral English teaching in senior high schools,so as to enable teachers to have a more comprehensive understanding of the ecological oral English teaching,and make effective recommendations for the construction of ecological oral English teaching,so as to improve oral English teaching and improve students’ oral English.According to the classification of the elements of ecological classroom by Du Yali,the author divides the research content into three ecological factors,namely students,teachers and environment.Questionnaire and interview survey were conducted among students of Class 11,13 and 14 of Grade 1 and five English teachers of Grade 1,as well as classroom observation,in order to explore the ecological status of senior high school oral English teaching,the existence of non-ecological phenomenon of these two questions.After investigation,the author found that there are three problems in oral English teaching in senior high schools.First of all,the teacher’s classroom role is too simple,and the teaching method,teaching evaluation and multimedia application are not perfect.Secondly,there are some problems in students’ attitude and method of oral learning.Finally,the classroom material environment and spiritual environment need to be improved.In view of these problems,the author conducted in-depth analysis according to the law of limiting factors,the law of niche,the law of tolerance and the principle of maximum moderation in ecology,found out the causes of these imbalances,and provided relevant strategies and suggestions for the reconstruction of classroom ecological balance.It is to construct harmonious class interpersonal relationship,ecological classroom material and spiritual environment,optimize oral teaching process and students’ oral learning process. |
