In the 20 th century,China experienced unprecedented changes in politics,economy,culture,and social life,and erhu music has also grown rapidly in the cultural context of China for thousands of years.Excellent erhu art has taken root and sprouted in the new era,all of which cannot be separated from the tremendous promotion of erhu education.Looking back at the century long development process of erhu,renowned artists have emerged in large numbers,and the core of inheriting erhu music cannot be separated from the exploration and hard work of generations of professional erhu artists.It is precisely because of the reform and exploration of erhu music by outstanding predecessors and the attempt to update erhu education that the current professional erhu music education system has been constructed.The research content of this article is mainly divided into three parts,which are composed of introduction,main text,and conclusion.The introduction mainly elaborates on the source,significance,research methods,and research objectives of the research topic.The main text is elaborated on the time dimension of the 20 th century.Firstly,in the first half of the 20 th century,during the embryonic period of erhu music education,it explores the foundational enlightenment of Zhou Shaomei and Liu Tianhua on professional erhu education under the music trend of "improving national music";Secondly,In the mid-20 th century,during the prosperous development period of erhu music education,a large number of erhu performers studied and trained professional erhu talents,implemented the concept of "refined and specialized education",and inherited their outstanding ideas in education;Thirdly,In the second half of the 20 th century,during the prosperous stage of erhu music education,exploring the innovative connotation of erhu music education thought by the new generation of erhu performers under the consideration of "modern education" towards erhu.Finally,Based on the above research and sorting,combined with the author’s years of learning accumulation and practical teaching experience in the field of erhu,this paper explores and summarizes the practical inspiration for the development of professional erhu music education in the context of contemporary multiculturalism.
