| Discourse markers is a very common linguistic phenomenon in verbal communication. It is often outside the grammatical structure and is not restricted by the syntactic structure, even if it is deleted,it does not affect the integrity and grammaticality of the sentence, and is outside the sentence to express procedural meaning rather than conceptual meaning. The role in discourse is mainly at the pragmatic level, being words, phrases and idiomatic expressions that guide discourse comprehension. The study of discourse markers helps to further explore and understand the development of language itself,so that people can use language more effectively and communicate more successfully. At present, comparative studies of discourse markers among major languages in domestic linguistics are developing rapidly, but most of them are focused on Chinese-English and Chinese-Japanese discourse markers, mainly using Chinese-foreign languages as materials. The comparative study of discourse markers using Mongolian as linguistic material has not yet been covered. Therefore, this paper presents a comparative analysis of Sino-Mongolian discourse markers, aiming to provide rich examples for discourse marker studies and to make useful additions to such studies.Guided by the correlation theory, this paper compares the usage frequency and discourse functions of the Chinese and Mongolian discourse markers in the 770,000words/ 450,000 word level Chinese and Mongolian parallel film and TV drama corpus, analyzes their similarities and differences, and summarizes the reasons for the differences.Meanwhile, based on the Chinese and Mongolian discourse markers appearing in the Chinese and Mongolian parallel film and TV drama corpus,a Chinese and Mongolian discourse marker set and an electronic dictionary are developed to retrieve the discourse markers.Chapter 1 describes the concept, classification and characteristics of discourse markers, and summarizes the definition criteria of Chinese and Mongolian discourse markers;Chapter 2 is a comparative study of Chinese and Mongolian discourse markers;Chapter 3 introduces the construction principles, steps and functions of the Chinese-Mongolian parallel discourse marker electronic dictionary;Chapter 4 is the conclusion.Chapter 3introduces the construction principles, steps of construction, and software functions of the Chinese-Mongolian parallel discourse marker electronic dictionary;Chapter 4 is the conclusion section, which summarizes the whole paper and points out the shortcomings of this study. |
