A Comparative Study On The Artistic Characteristics Of The Piano Adaptation Of The Nightingale By Glinka And Liszt

In the early 19 th century,with the development of society,the Romanticism style gradually rose,and had a great influence on literature,music and other artistic fields.The music of the Romantic period not only inherited the essence of the classical period,but also continued to develop and innovate.The creation style is more individualistic and attaches importance to the expression of people’s inner emotions.Its unique strong,free and unrestrained style forms a strong contrast with the rigorous,elegant and dignified style of the classical period.The vocal music work "Nightingale" was created by Russian composer Aliabiev,the author used the creative technique of constant variation to make the music has a strong appeal,the melody is gentle and beautiful,deeply loved by people,so Glinka and Liszt adapted it into the piano music,the two works show different personal characteristics of the music style and creation characteristics.In the process of adapting and creating the same vocal music work,they integrate their own understanding of the work into the creation,which all follow the gist of the original vocal music work,but also show different artistic characteristics.This paper makes a detailed comparison of the piano adaptation Nightingale by Glinka and Liszt.The innovation point is to start with the personal artistic characteristics of the two by using methods such as logical analysis,induction and summary,as well as combining the key and difficult points of their own performance skills.Firstly,it starts with the creation background,melody and theme of the vocal music Nightingale.Secondly,it expounds the creation background and musical form analysis in two different piano works.Finally,it focuses on the comparative study of the artistic characteristics of the two.Firstly,it starts with the comparison of the individual artistic characteristics of the two:Glinka has strong artistic characteristics of the Russian nationality,and the theme melody depicts the image of the nightingale vividly in four variations;Liszt not only has the characteristic of showy artistic creation,but also has the artistic thinking of symphonic.A large number of showy and colorful parts make the music more colorful.The second and third respectively in the creative techniques and performance of the comparative analysis and discussion.Through the comparison between these three aspects,explore the artistic characteristics of the two pieces of piano music,so that everyone can experience and feel the integration of vocal music and piano creation,so that the value of the works more prominent.Through the research of this paper,I hope to provide reference for piano teaching and performance of future generations.
