| With the development of modern education,teaching is no longer limited to traditional classrooms but has also extended to online classrooms.However,not all schools and training institutions provide this option because they do not see the urgency in implementing online classrooms.At the end of 2019,the sudden outbreak of the novel coronavirus(COVID-19)began to ravage the world,causing significant disruptions in various industries in every country and region.Consequently,each country and region implemented measures to combat the virus,including lockdowns and isolations for specific places and individuals,in order to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.In this situation,countries started to realize the greater role and urgency of online classroom teaching.Based on the aforementioned background,this article primarily analyzes and compares the effectiveness of online and offline Chinese language classroom teaching in Malang National University,Indonesia.Based on previous research findings,the adaptability of online and offline classroom teaching plans and implementations is observed to understand the interaction between students and teachers in the classroom.The first part is the introduction,summarizing the current series of problems in online classroom teaching based on the research background.After analyzing the research objectives,the research methods are determined.The second part analyzes the status of online and offline Chinese language classroom teaching in Malang National University.In this part,the author analyzes the teaching design,implementation,interaction,and outcomes.The third part analyzes the questionnaire survey on online and offline Chinese language classroom teaching.Through the survey,students’ opinions on online and offline classroom teaching are understood,and their basic Chinese language abilities are identified.According to the analysis of the questionnaire survey,offline classroom teaching is more popular.Interviews are conducted to gain a deeper understanding of teachers’ thoughts and preparations for online and offline classes.Based on the interview results,teachers’ preparations for online and offline classroom teaching do not differ significantly,but teachers believe that offline classroom teaching is more effective than online teaching.The author hopes that the research findings in this paper will provide new materials for future studies to further enrich the research on the status of Chinese language teaching in Indonesia. |
