Research On The Composition And Performance Of Piano Accompaniment Music For Wagner's Weisendonk Vocal Suit

The "Weisendoke" vocal suite was composed between 1857 and 1858,and the overall composition of the vocal suite bridged the 19th-century German-Austrian vocal suite from Schumann and Wagner to Mahler and Wolf in some of the late romantic compositions.In this vocal suite,the composer uses creative techniques such as endless melody,chromatic harmony,and dominant motives used in the music.This paper takes the composition and performance of the piano accompaniment music of Wagner’s vocal suite "Weisendonck" as the research object,and is divided into three parts:the first part is an overview of the composition,which introduces the life and composition of Wagner’s life and suite;The second part analyzes the composition of piano accompaniment music from the three parts: melody and harmony,melody and texture,rhythm and beat.The third part will analyze how to play the piano accompaniment part of the suite,and compare it with different performance versions,seeking how to better play the emotional musical mood and the tacit cooperation with the singer.
