A Study On The Degree Expressions Of The Minnan Dialect In Yangxi

In this paper,the degree of the Yangxi Minnan dialect is investigated by fieldwork,induction,description and comparative analysis.This paper conducts an in-depth study of the degree expression of the Yangxi Minnan dialect and compares it with the surrounding dominant dialects,so as to investigate the influence of the dialect contact on the Yangxi Minnan dialect.There are many ways to express the degree of Yangxi Minnan dialect.In terms of lexicology,it is mainly embodied in the two forms of state adjectives ABB and ABA,of which the ABB superimposed suffix BB can be composed of nouns,verbs,adjectives,onomatopoeia and specific syllables.In terms of grammar,adverbs of degree act as adverbs and complements as the most dominant manifestation.According to the characteristics of strong adhesion,strong localization and single semantic orientation,Yangxi Minnan dialect was analyzed,24 degree adverbs were screened,and there were classified according to the differences in comparison objects and degree magnitude.18degree adverbs mainly act as adverbs and the rest 6 mainly serve as complements in the sentence.In addition,there are 4 indicative pronouns and some phases in the sentence as adverbs and complement table degrees in the sentence,respectively.The degree of overlapping table is one of the characteristic means of Yangxi Minnan dialect,however compare with the native Minnan dialect,its usage method and the frequency of use are both reduced.Monosyllabic adjectives can form AA and AAA form degrees by overlapping,and two-syllable adjectives can overlap AABB form degrees.In addition,the“X显X”and“X显X显”derived from the degree complement“显”can also express the degree deepening,but the frequency of use of this overlapping tense in Minnan dialect has been greatly reduced.In terms of pragmatics,the tone of exclamations and questions,as well as the need to attach to syllables with accents,also play a role in the expression of degree.Yangxi is located in the dialect border zone,and the degree expression in Yangxi Minnan dialect is influenced by surrounding dialects and absorbs the components of different dialects.This paper compares it with the dominant dialects in the surrounding dialects,Wenzhou dialect and Taishun Mango,from both lexicology and grammar.Through the results of comparison,at the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty,Yangxi Minnan dialect absorbs the degree adverbs“显,蛮”from the Wenzhou dialect and from the Kang Qian period to the present,Yangxi Minnan dialect absorb the degree adverbs“赖,□□[i⁴⁴ m（?）],□□□[zi³¹ kao²¹³ m（?）],尽,尽头”from the Taishun Mango dialect.The above formed the current pattern of the Yangxi Minnan dialect.
