Analysis Of Treatment Of Delivering Of Humorous Utterance In Chinese-Korean Simultaneous Interpretating

This paper discusses the interpretation of humorous expressions from Chinese into Korean,assessing the difficulties the interpreter in the case study faced in this task.This paper analyses a case study and qualitatively classifies humorous expressions in the ChineseKorean simultaneous interpretation of the mock conference of Yu Minhong’s speech,where the subject conducted simultaneous interpretation.In addition,the reasons for the difficulties in conveying humorous expressions are analyzed,and suggestions for improvement are raised.This paper refers to earlier research and applies the findings to the case study.The difficulties in this interpretation task are divided into problems in understanding the original language,problems in switching language,and problems in output fluency.Those problem lies in the inability to understand the original language,the insufficiencies of understanding Chinese humor and the difficulties finding the adequate expressions in the output language.To improve on these areas,it is necessary to extend vocabulary accumulation,strengthen listening of the Chinese language,and learn rich and refined expressions to further improve the native language.
