| Lucian Freud is one of the most influential and distinctive artistic masters in the history of art in the 20 th century. His works have both representational art and subjective thinking,so they contain non objective artistic perspectives and appear implicitly in contradictory pictures. At the same time,Freud has created a unique artistic style. This article studies the characteristics of concrete sketching and abstract painting, sees abstract art through the dimensions of concrete, and analyzes the lines in Freud’s sketching works. The author believes that Freud’s lines are emotional, and through curved lines, subjective consciousness is presented, forming a meaningful physical effect. The inclusion of abstraction in concrete forms broadens the research value of the former. Therefore, the image portrayal in Freud’s sketches is not only concrete, but also pursues human emotions for creation. This thesis attempts to study the abstract meaning implied in Lucian Freud’s figurative sketch art and the art of the line in his sketch works. The first chapter of this article mainly distinguishes the concepts of concrete sketch and "abstraction".Chapter 2 conducts a deep analysis of the composition, composition, and texture of the lines presented in the painting from multiple perspectives, based on the research and organization of Freud’s sketch lines. The third chapter presents the unity of the painter’s subjective and objective spirit through the "anti reproduction" and "non objectivity" in the works of the Chinese painter Chao Ge,who was influenced by Freud. The fourth chapter mainly refers to the works created by the author through memory sketches, and presents the "formal beauty" of the screen by combining its creative form with daily life. The lines in my works aim at express time and space,or even the "flow" of the two directly pointing to the soul.Under the influence of artists such as Freud and Chaoge, the author combines memory with experience to return to observation, analysis, and understanding of people, emphasizing the essence of people. |
