A Study Of The Formal Characteristics And Narrative Of Han Portrait Stones In Nanyang

Han portrait stones are the treasures of China’s ancient cultural heritage,and the art of Han portrait stones is a traditional art form with national characteristics.The Nanyang Han portrait stones are famous for their vivid and romantic artistic style and rich content forms,and have high artistic and aesthetic value.Taking the Nanyang Han portrait stones as the research object,this paper will conduct an in-depth study of this unique art form.Pictorial narratives have played an inescapable role in facilitating the dissemination of information and promoting social development.The Nanyang Han portrait stones are rich in subject matter and diverse in expression,and have much to offer in terms of traditional image narrative and formal language.This paper will analyze and summarize the formal features and narrative styles of the Nanyang Han portrait stones,taking the mythology-related portrait stones as an example,and through the analysis of the images,explore the relationship between formal language and image narrative to provide an effective practical basis for the creation of narrative paintings.In the first part,the historical origin of the Nanyang Han portrait stones and the mythological portrait stones are outlined;in the second part,the stylistic features of the Nanyang portrait stones are analyzed,and the artistic expression of lines,the composition of points,lines and surfaces,and the image expression are analyzed through examples;in the third part,the composition of the Nanyang Han portrait stones is summarized,and their formal beauty is analyzed;in the fourth part,the composition features of the Nanyang Han portrait stones are summarized,and their formal beauty is analyzed;in the fourth part,the composition features of the Nanyang Han portrait stones are analyzed.The fourth part analyzes the narrative style of the Nanyang Han portrait stone from the perspective of image narrative,summarizes its narrative characteristics by comparing the images of portrait stones from other regions,and explores the application of its unique artistic expressions to image narrative.Finally,we conclude that we can draw inspirations for modern art creation,which can increase the beauty of narrative painting forms while injecting national cultural connotations into art creation.
