Oriental Echo-Interpretation Of Cy Twombly’s Paintings

Cy Twombly,as a famous contemporary artist in the twentieth century,has never stopped exploring art in his artistic career.He does not belong to any art genre but concentrates on his own creation.Whether it is the systematic study of art at Black Mountain College,or traveling in various countries with ancient civilizations,through continuous reading and reference,he blends his own creation with different arts and cultures,thus producing brand new art perspective.This article begins with Twombly’s study at Black Mountain College,from three aspects: the artistic concept formed under the influence of oriental thought,the physical perspective in Olson’s “Radiation Poetry”,and the written expression formed by the influence of oriental calligraphy and painting Let’s discuss and analyze the new artistic perspective produced by the integration of Mmbre’s artistic creation with oriental culture.
