Analysis Of The Changes Of Female Images In Chinese Original Animation

"Female Concernment" should not be avoided in any research field.With the spread of feminist thoughts worldwide,the image of women has become a sign of social civilization and progress.The depiction of women in animated works,which reflects cultural values and the spirit of the times,is an important component.Female images in Chinese animation partly reflect to the cognitive situation of "feminie" in Chinese society.This paper uses the method of content analysis to collect 340 images of female over the past 64 years from the online resource pool combined with the annual recommended animation list of the National Radio and Television Administration.The representative cases were used to explore the changes in female images in Chinese animation works.The study found that there is an expansion of space for the shaping of female images in domestic animated works.Nevertheless,in the initial dimension,there is a tendency towards juvenileization,beautification,weakened identity and the emergence of conflicting occupations.In the deep dimension of character construction,it shows a new change from singular to multiple complex standpoints,no longer emphasizing helping people and perfect personality,and exploring diverse possibilities to remove confusion and awaken self-awareness.At the same time,there are still problems existing in the female image portrayal of Chinese animation,such as stereotypical construction and lack of description of same-sex relationships,which still has certain discrepancies with female images in reality.To change this situation,we should keep up with the times,give full play to the advantages of multiple subjects,deeply explore traditional culture,and enhance the national characteristics of female images in domestic animation.Through the analysis of the changes in female images in domestic animation,we expect to help resolve issues in the animation industry,promote the shining presence of Chinese female images,further demonstrate soft power of culture,and enhance cultural identity.
