Study On Different Female Consciousness Between Domestic TV Series And Real Life

As an important part of feminism, the concept of female consciousness has also changed all the way. Thus every epoch has its own definition of female consciousness with specific features. By depicting the reality in an artistic way, TV series has been believed that could reflect female consciousness in certain periods. However, whether such reflection could be real or balanced, that is the question this dissertation would devote to solve. This paper adoptes feministic perspective to analyse audiences’ texts after they have watched Hirugao,the hottest Japanese TV play that focuses on housewives’ affairs in China in 2014, compares the female consciousness in real life and domestic TV series to answer the original question.This article retrospects the study on female image, media audience and female consciousness in TV play. Then the article summarizes the female consciousness from female image in domestic TV series within ten years. As the other study object, this paper studies the female consciousness from female audiences’ comment on Hirugao and finds the gap between TV play and real life at the same time. By realizing its drawbacks, the paper gives out the reason along with solutions in the end.
