Fabrication And Metaphor Of Mirror Image

The writing of this thesis is a self-interpretation of the form and meaning expression of my "Mirror" series of works.The creation takes the simulation of contemporary mirror image as the language carrier,and reconstructs and deconstructs the picture through cropping and superposition,imagination addition and deformation and dislocation combination in the creative process,and creates a new self-mirror space.By drawing on relevant academic theories such as mirror philosophy,psychology,art,and iconography,the thesis expounds on the painting imitation and meaning transmission of mirror images in my works at a multi-dimensional level.This series of works is a comprehensive presentation of my professional creation and theoretical learning achievements at the graduate level,as the object of graduation thesis writing,in order to obtain better practical pertinence and writing authenticity for my professional master’s thesis.The creation of mirror themes can break the limitations of time and space,juxtapose multi-dimensional and multi-cultural pictures in the picture,and make the meaning of painting richer.In this series of works,the juxtaposition of the multiple realities of postmodern society is the juxtaposition and reconstruction of the multiple realities of postmodern society,the pursuit of the multiple realities,the real and the illusory,and the metaphors of meaning such as overlapping and dislocation of self and other identities.This article is divided into five chapters: the first chapter introduces the overview of the "Mirror" series of works,the origin and background of its creation.Chapter 2 elaborates on the concept of mirror image,as well as related mirror theories in pan-cultural categories such as philosophy,psychology,image sociology,and art studies.Chapter 3 expounds the specific pictorial fabrication process of mirror images,mainly from the two levels of reorganization and fabrication of material artwork and reconstruction of language form.Chapter 4elaborates on the meaning of the mirror series of works,starting from the metaphor and reference of mirror image to social reality,authenticity,identity,etc.The fifth chapter is my thoughts and prospects on the subsequent creation of the mirror series.
