| Picture books of museums are important carriers of scientific and cultural knowledge to children and excellent ways to cultivate children’s scientific and cultural literacy.Based on the analysis of picture books in the museum and the development of picture books in our museum,we will explore the creation methods of picture books for school-age children in the museum.In the practice and research of museum picture books,it is found that at present,there are some problems in domestic museum picture books,such as unclear age division of children suitable for reading,uneven quality of picture books,and single form of picture books.Starting from the needs of school-age children for the content of picture books in museums,this paper discusses the necessity of developing picture books for school-age children in museums,and puts forward the methods and strategies for the creation of picture books for school-age children in museums.Through the collection of theoretical data,this paper sorted out the market situation of children’s picture books in museums at home and abroad and the opportunities and challenges facing the development of picture books in museums,and clarified the research direction of picture books for school-age children in museums.Further investigate and analyze the status quo and achievements of the development of picture books in domestic and foreign museums,and sort out the research ideas and research methods.Secondly,it discusses the content of the existing high-quality museum picture books in three directions,that is,it tells the history of cultural relics through the hero’s adventure story of exploring cultural relics in the museum;Through the antique-centric game design,the combination of question and answer is added to analyze the antique-centric knowledge;Through the connection between ancient life and modern children’s life to convey the significance of cultural relics.Provide guidance for design practice.In the process of design practice,combining strategy theory and practical experience,taking Sanxingdui Museum as an example,targeted research on the cognitive needs of school-age children and the needs of picture books of Sanxingdui Museum were carried out in a more specific way based on the previous research conclusions.In the practice process of picture books for school-age children in Sanxingdui Museum,a picture book program that conforms to the cognition of school-age children,shows the characteristics of Sanxingdui Museum,combines science and interest is created from the perspective of children,and conveys the gorgeous Sanxingdui civilization and wonderful Sanxingdui archaeological history through lyrical words and exquisite pictures.And then build a museum school-age children’s picture book with vitality.In the process of practice,the creation strategy of picture books for school-age children in museums is further verified and the design strategy is improved.This paper hopes that Looking for Sanxingdui,a picture book for school-age children created on the basis of Sanxingdui Museum’s rich historical and cultural knowledge,can provide new ideas for the development of picture books for school-age children in the museum,strengthen the museum’s precise cultural services,promote the education and popularization of historical and cultural knowledge,cultivate school-age children’s spirit of independent exploration of Chinese culture,and enhance national pride and cultural belonging. |
