| With the rapid rise of the gaming industry,developers are seeking to incorporate traditional cultural elements into game design,providing players with unique and culturally rich experiences.This study focuses on the images from Chinese folklore and bizarre tales,exploring how to skillfully apply these elements to game concept art creation.The paper first outlines the origin and development of folklore and bizarre tales,as well as their role in cultural inheritance,emphasizing the importance of game concept art design in the game development process and paying attention to the basic principles and techniques of concept art design.Through the analysis of specific cases,this study discusses how to integrate folklore images with game worldview,providing specific suggestions from aspects such as character setting and scene design.The research finds that applying folklore images to game concept art creation can enrich the cultural connotation of the game and enhance its uniqueness and appeal.In the creative process,maintaining the original appearance of folklore while innovating can make these images more in line with modern aesthetic requirements and players’ preferences.At the same time,the study also points out the challenges that may be faced in applying folklore images in game concept art creation,such as overcoming cultural differences and the integration of tradition and modernity.For these challenges,some solutions and suggestions are proposed to help concept artists better utilize folklore images.In conclusion,this study provides new perspectives and ideas for game concept art creation,promoting the transformation and upgrading of the gaming industry,and achieving a harmonious combination of culture and entertainment.In future game development,developers can draw on the findings of this study to incorporate more folkloric elements into game concept art design,providing players with unique and culturally rich gaming experiences. |
