As teenagers in the process of development, technical secondary school students are emotionally sensitive and aggressive due to physiological development and environmental impact, which brings pressure to school management and threats to students’ physical and mental health. In educational practice, punishment is often used to deal with aggressive behavior between students, which may aggravate the revolt of students, and then aggravate more aggressive behavior. This study attempts to explore the influencing factors of the aggressive behavior of technical secondary school students in order to reduce the aggressive behavior.Studies have shown that hostile interpretation bias is an important cognitive factor in the formation and development of aggressive behavior, while empathy and effort control,as protective factors, can negatively predict aggression. Therefore, this study explores the relationship of empathy, effort control, hostile interpretation bias and aggressive behavior, and further analyzes the mechanism of hostile interpretation bias, and carries out empathy intervention through group counseling to reduce aggressive behavior. The first study selected 535 students from a technical secondary school in Shanxi as subjects, carried out a questionnaire survey through the internet platform, used spss to analyze the data, and explored the relationship of empathy, effort control, hostile interpretation bias and aggressive behavior. The research found that: there is a significantly negative correlation between empathy and aggressive behavior, and hostile interpretation bias plays a significantly intermediary role in the impact of empathy on the aggressive behavior;there is a significantly negative correlation between effort control and aggressive behavior, and hostile interpretation bias plays a completely intermediary role in the impact of effort control on the aggressive behavior. The second study developed a group counseling program that improved empathy trying to reduce hostile interpretation bias and aggressive behavior.According to the results of the first study,27 technical secondary school students were selected and divided into experimental group, control group and blank group. The experimental group received empathy training group counseling,a total of seven times, once a week for 90-120 minutes each time;the control group received career planning group counseling,a total of seven times, once a week for 90-120 minutes each time;and the blank group does not receive any intervention.Through the analysis of the data of the pre-test,post-test,and follow-up test,it is found that the group counseling of empathy training has a good effect on reducing the hostile interpretation bias and aggressive behavior of technical secondary school students.By exploring the relationship of empathy ability, efforts control, hostile interpretation bias and aggressive behavior of technical secondary school students, this study has enriched the research on aggressive behavior;empathy training group counseling programs provides a new perspective and practical way to improve the empathy ability of technical secondary school students and reduce their aggressive behavior.
