Development, Establishment, And Extension: A Study Of The Mannheim Orchestra From 1743 To 177

The pre-classical period is a special transitional period in instrumental music,which Baroque the Viennese Classical period.At the same time,as the carrier of music expression,the orchestra also achieved a certain degree of development in this period.The orchestra of Mannheim’s court is undoubtedly one of the most representative of this long river of development.The orchestras of this period have defined some basic structures and forms,laying the foundation for the standard orchestra of modern significance.As the first court music organization famous for its orchestra in Germany,the development of Mannheim was influenced by many factors such as society and culture.There are five chapters in this article.The first chapter explains the concept of orchestra,explains the etymology and meaning of “Orchestra”,and briefly introduces the development of orchestra,to introduce the developing Mannheim Orchestra.The second chapter explores the formation and development of the Mannheim Orchestra and analyzes the composition of the members of the Mannheim Orchestra.The third chapter is about the composition and performance of the Mannheim Orchestra.It analyses the composition of the Mannheim Orchestra and explores the factors behind the performance effect of the Orchestra.The fourth chapter is about the Mannheim Orchestra and music composition,and analyzes the interaction between music composition and Mannheim Orchestra performance through the Mannheim School of the works of J.Stamitz and C.Cannabich.The fifth part is about the historical significance of the Mannheim Orchestra.It summarizes the inheritance of the German court music culture by the Mannheim Orchestra and its enlightenment and influence on the Viennese classical musicians.This paper aims to focus on the development of the orchestra,its phenomena and influence in the development,hoping to pay more attention to the historical content beyond composers and works,such as performance,evaluation,etc.,it also reminds people to pay more attention to the composers who contributed to the development of the symphony in the pre-classical period,in addition to the existing mature classical and romantic period musicians and works.
