| The European Branch of the Communist Party of China was an overseas branch in the early days of the founding of the Communist Party of China,which played an important role in cultivating party cadres,accumulating party group work experience,uniting Chinese workers,and red propaganda.The concept of the European Branch of the Communist Party of China is divided into a broad and narrow sense,and the European branch of the Communist Party of China in the narrow sense refers specifically to the party organizations established in Europe at the end of1922,and the broad sense includes the party organizations and Communist youth league established in Europe in the 1920 s.This article uses the latter broad concept.During the First World War,in order to achieve the purpose of participating in the war,the Beiyang government sent 140,000 Chinese workers to Europe.The exploitation and oppression of Chinese workers after they went to Europe stimulated their political consciousness and class consciousness.The same is the group of work-study students.Since 1919,China has set off a vigorous work-study movement in France,with nearly 2,000 participants.The embarrassing economic situation and unfair treatment not only enabled the work-study students to launch " the Feb.28 th Movement" and the "Lyon Movement",but also prompted the Chinese community in the European region to complete the internal integration and unification,and gradually move towards the road of politicization and radicalization.With the establishment of domestic communist groups and the prevalence of the European communist trend,coupled with the communist transformation of the "Engineering World Society" that had a profound influence in the European region,the communist trend of the Chinese in The European region has become unstoppable.The party organizations in the European region experienced the development of the CPC’s European Brigade Group and the CPC’s German Group until the end of 1922,when the unified Party organization in Europe was established;The establishment of the European branch of the Communist Youth League was completed around June 1922.In 1922,the Communist Youth League of the Communist Youth League organized the European Branch to issue the organ publication "Youth",which became the main position for "internal training" and "external propaganda" of party members.The journal was renamed "Red Light" in June 1923 after the Kuomintang-communist cooperation in Europe was reached,and paid more attention to the study of the practical problems of the revolution."Youth" and "Red Light" have played a key role in cultivating theoretical literacy,developing Marxism,and defeating non-Marxism.Although the European branch of the CPC was not born in China,it made important contributions to the revolutionary practice in the early days of the founding of the CPC.In terms of personnel training,through systematic communist education,it has trained important party and group cadres in the history of the Communist Party of China,such as Zhou Enlai,Zhao Shiyan,Chen Yannian,and Chen Qiaonian;in the dissemination of Marxism,the CPC in Europe branch has successively defeated non-Marxist factions such as anarchism and the Chinese Youth Party,making Marxism the mainstream ideology among the groups in Europe;in terms of cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party,it has actively responded to the call of the Party Central Committee,taken the lead in completing "intra-party cooperation" in Europe,and grasped the main leadership.It became the precursor of the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.The European branch of the CPC is of great significance in the history of the founding of the Communist Party of China As far as its own development history is concerned,it is an important part of the history of the CPC,especially the early history of the CPC,and has drawn a strong and colorful stroke in the history of the CPC;as far as the history of the development of Marxism is concerned,it has made unique contributions to the spread,development and the Sinicization of Marxism,and is an essential content of the study of the Sinicization of Marxism. |
