Research On College Students Forging The Sense Of Community For The Chinese Nation From The Perspective Of Convergence Media

Currently,China has entered the era of convergence media.For contemporary college students who are most sensitive to information technology,the way to receive information and knowledge from the outside world is no longer dominated by traditional classroom education and papery medium but replaced by new media represented by We Chat,Weibo,and short video platforms,which has a great impact on college students’ life and study in many aspects.To meet the development needs of convergence media and achieve a better effect on education,colleges and universities in Guangxi should seize the development prospects and new opportunities brought by the convergence media platform to college students’ learning,make full use of the new media and technologies to college students’ ideological and political education,and do well in the ideological and political education work.In the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly proposed to strengthen the sense of community for the Chinese nation and then emphasized doing well in the propaganda and education of ethnic unity and progress during the inspection of Guangxi in 2021.Strengthening the sense of community for the Chinese nation has become one of the key points of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Colleges and universities in Guangxi should seize the opportunity.The traditional advantages of ideological and political work in colleges and universities are integrated with convergence media technology to forge a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation among college students.For the research of colleges and universities in Guangxi to forge college students’ sense of community for the Chinese nation from the perspective of convergence media,the author divided into four parts to elaborate.The first chapter is the introduction,which systematically sorts the domestic and foreign research literature,summarizes the current situation of relevant research,and finds the present research trend and breakthrough point,which also provides the theoretical basis for this paper.Chapter two mainly explains the discrimination of related concepts and summarizes relevant important theoretical sources.Firstly,the concepts of "convergence media" and "Chinese national community" are defined,and then the theoretical basis of this thesis is systematically analyzed,including "Marxist theory of communication","Marxist theory of ideology","Marxist classic writers’ theory of nationality" and "Xi Jinping’s discourse on forging the firm sense of community for the Chinese nation".The author collects data in chapter three in the form of questionnaires for college students in Guangxi with the method of empirical research and analyzes the current situation and causes of forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation among college students in Guangxi colleges and universities in the context of convergence media.It is found that there are still many shortcomings in forging a firm sense of community for the Chinese nation in colleges and universities of Guangxi,and the main reasons are that college students are not capable of screening the mass information brought by media technologies in the background of convergence media,while colleges and universities need to improve the propaganda system of forging the firm sense of community for the Chinese nation,and the contingent of teachers need to adapt to the environment of media integration development.The author combines the above analysis in chapter four,aiming at the problems and causes of college students of Guangxi in forging a firm sense of community for the Chinese nation,the author puts forward a relatively feasible path.Firstly,we insist on the content of propaganda and education with the mainline of forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation,secondly,we should build an all-round and three-dimensional university convergence media propaganda system,and finally,we should do well in cultivating professional teachers’ team in the multi-functional integrated development of media integration,to promote the ideological propaganda work of universities and build a new platform for cultivating people with the sense of community for the Chinese nation.
