Research On The Impact Of Short Video On Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

Online short videos are an emerging medium that has emerged with the rapid development of the internet industry,and have become a daily cultural dissemination carrier.Short online videos have a high popularity rate among college students,with rich content,wide audience,convenient operation,and complex environment.They have unique cultural dissemination advantages,but behind the cultural feast,there are also negative crises hidden,which have an impact on college students’ learning and life,and have changed the ecological environment of ideological and political education for college students.Therefore,exploring the impact of online short videos on college students’ ideological and political education,exploring the advantages of using online short videos,and finding ways to resolve their negative impacts have become important issues in current research on college students’ ideological and political education.Firstly,through theoretical analysis,the internal mechanism of the impact of online short videos on college students’ ideological and political education was sorted out from four aspects:the environment,objects,processes,and effects of online short videos on college students’ ideological and political education.Based on this,four main contents of the survey questionnaire were designed.Secondly,through empirical analysis,the survey questionnaire is empirically tested.On this basis,clarify the dual impact of online short videos on college students’ ideological and political education,and then analyze the reasons for the dual edged effect.Finally,based on the discipline rules and research related theories of ideological and political education,this paper proposes strategies to assist the development of ideological and political education for college students through the dual impact of online short videos on their ideological and political education.The strategy is divided into two parts.Firstly,the strategy of using online short videos to do ideological and political education well within universities includes: adapting to development advantages and creating a network matrix;Utilize network resources to update traditional educational and teaching models;Utilize algorithmic advantages to enhance the influence of high-quality content;Strengthen media education and strengthen the self-regulation of college students;Secondly,strategies to mitigate the negative impact of online short videos from external sources include: improving laws and regulations,strengthening supervision of online short video platforms;Enhance industry self-discipline and optimize the health settings of online short videos;Integrate social forces and jointly create a good educational environment;Strengthen publicity and education,and focus on improving the network literacy of the entire population.The paper is based on the disciplinary background of ideological and political education,outlining the dual impact of online short videos on ideological and political education of college students.Starting from theoretical research,the main content of the investigation and research is determined,providing new ideas for studying the current situation of the impact of online short videos on ideological and political education of college students.I hope that some insights from this study can provide some help and reference for studying the relationship between online short videos and ideological and political education for college students,and also provide some reference for the practice of ideological and political education for college students.
