Research On Strategies For Improving The Cognitive Level Of Chinese Ethnic Community Awareness Among College Students

The 2021 Central Conference on Ethnic Affairs has identified strengthening the awareness of the Chinese national community as the main line of ethnic work in the new era,and the construction of the Chinese national community has become a key task of ethnic work.The college student community is an important force in the construction of the Chinese national community.The Education of the Consciousness of the Chinese National Community is an Important Content of the Education Work in Socialist Universities.College students are in a critical period of forming their worldview,outlook on life,and values.Faced with the impact of various cultural trends and negative factors in the social environment,they are prone to cognitive biases in terms of national,ethnic,historical,cultural,and religious views.Therefore,ideological and political education is an important way to cultivate successors who are worthy of national rejuvenation.This study takes some students from Inner Mongolia Min Zu University as sample survey objects to investigate the cognitive level of Chinese national community awareness among college students.Research has shown that through the joint efforts of school education,family education,and social education,the cognitive level of the Chinese national community consciousness among college students has reached a high level,possessing a certain theoretical literacy of the Chinese national community consciousness,and having a high enthusiasm for participating in the construction of the Chinese national community.However,individual students’ awareness of the Chinese national community still needs to be improved.The reasons for this are: first,the impact of nihilism and other ideological trends on the consciousness education of the Chinese national community;Secondly,there is significant room for improvement in the effectiveness of the Chinese national community awareness in ideological and political courses;Thirdly,negative factors in the social environment that are not conducive to the construction of the Chinese National Community are also at play.The following solutions are proposed for this:firstly,fully utilize the role of ideological and political courses as the main channel for educating the Chinese national community consciousness;Secondly,building a comprehensive ideological and political framework in universities to enrich the educational strength of the Chinese national community consciousness;Thirdly,promote the joint efforts of schools,families,and society to form a sense of Chinese national community education;Fourth,encourage college students to actively participate in the practice of building the Chinese National Community.The education of the awareness of the community of the Chinese nation is related to the cultivation of successors and builders of the socialist cause,and the growth and success of the college student group.It is necessary to constantly enhance young college students’ recognition of the great motherland,the Chinese nation,Chinese culture,the CPC,and socialism with Chinese characteristics.
