Problems And Countermeasures Of Zhenhua Community In Baotou City

As an important part of China’s urbanization and modernization drive,urban community governance has attracted great attention from the Party and the country.With the development of cities,urban community governance has been increasingly valued.At the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee,it was pointed out that "improving the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity" is a strategic task,The government also pays more attention to urban community governance.Urban community governance is closely related to national economic development and people’s life.As the most basic unit in the city and society,community is the key point that China must pay attention to in promoting modernization.In the past,various regions in China have made certain achievements in urban community governance,and have made remarkable achievements in improving people’s living standards and residents’ happiness.However,there are still some problems,especially in the context of epidemic normalization,urban communities in various regions should not only do a good job in daily urban management and community governance,but also pay attention to the supervision and prevention of epidemic,This undoubtedly increases the difficulty of community governance.Therefore,under the current community governance environment,how to comprehensively strengthen community construction and effectively improve community service capacity has become an important task for local governments in construction and management.A neighborhood community is the basic unit of a city.Problems and challenges facing a local community reflect those facing the whole nation.Having a deep understanding of the significance of community governance is the background and basis of this study.By learning and comparing the study both in China and internationally,the study has a thorough discussion about the most updated study results regarding community governance.The paper includes five parts.The methodology of my study is focusing on basic principles and concepts and merging the fundamental concepts into community management.It investigated the case of “robust neighborhood community and great service” that happened in Zhenhua District in Baotou,making an analysis of the progress and the achievements of the initiative.The analysis was performed in four categories,which are efficiency,effectiveness,safety,and social care network.It is found that,although certain progress was made,certain problems do exist in the decision-making process.The problems were discovered and studied by distributing questionnaires to the residents in Zhenhua District.The study not only lists the existing problems in Zhenhua District,but also proposes potential solutions.Peer comparison studies among Zhenhua District,Taishan District,and Changzhou canal system were made.Comparison conclusions were made and used to roadmap the community administration and city governance to a better future.
