Research On The Practice And Enlightenment Of The Cpc’s Promotion Of Chinese Women’s Political Participation Since The Reform And Opening Up

As one of the important content of women’s self-liberation and development,women’s political participation is a vital symbol to measure the degree of civilization of a country.Since the reform and opening up,the Communist Party of China(the CPC for short here after)has always insisted on using the Marxist outlook on women as a beacon,illuminating the way forward,guiding women across the country to overcome obstacles,and enhancing the material foundation,consolidating the social foundation and institutional guarantee,and implementing the support of organization through various forms and channels.The majority of women have participated in political life and demonstrated their responsibilities in the political area.This is the positive and beneficial exploration of women’s political participation by the CPC for 40 years.This article is on the basis of the more than 40-year history of the CPC’s promotion of women’s political participation since the reform and opening up.Based on the practical exploration and policy texts of the CPC’s promotion of women’s political participation since the reform and opening up,this paper systematically sorts out the development process,main practices and achievements of the CPC’s promotion of women’s political participation since the reform and opening up,and summarizes its experience and enlightenment.This is of great significance for innovating the ways and methods of women’s political participation,promoting the development of women’s political participation,and consolidating the CPC’s ruling status in the new era.Four chapters are included as follows of the whole article.Chapter one is the introduction,which introduces the reason and significance of the topic,the current research status of the subject at home and abroad;expounds the research goals,ideas,methods,innovations and difficulties,and discusses the definition of“women”,and “women’s political participation” mentioned in this article.Chapter two includes the theoretical basis and importance.It mainly analyzes the ideas of women’s political participation of Marxist classic writers and Chinese Communists,which provides the theoretical basis for the research.And it also explores the significance of the CPC’s promotion of women’s political participation since the reform and opening up.Chapter three is the practical exploration.Firstly,it divides the development process of the CPC’s promotion of women’s political participation into four stages since the reform and opening up,namely,the stage of recovery and development(1978-1992),the stage of steady progress(1992-2002),the stage of consolidation and development(2002-2012),and the stage of continuous deepening(2012 to present).Secondly,it sorts out the practices of the CPC to promote women’s political participation from the economy,politics,culture,environment,and women’s organization,and summarizes its practical achievements.Chapter four is the experience and enlightenment,which focuses on summarizing the main experience of the CPC’s promotion of women’s political participation since the reform and opening up and puts forward the important enlightenment on the basis of the current situation of women’s political participation in our country.
