| Since entering the new era,the international community is facing an unprecedented new situation,and the Chinese nation is also facing a choice of the way forward.Xi Jinping attaches great importance to social governance,promotes the innovative development of social governance,and answers the questions of "what kind of society to build" and "how to build a society".Since the 18 th Party Congress,new problems and situations have emerged in Chinese society.Xi Jinping has scientifically studied the changes in the principal contradictions of Chinese society,and has made a series of important speeches on social governance,which have profoundly explained the theoretical sources,development paths and values of social governance in the era,with distinctive features and rich connotations,pointing out the direction for the modernization of social governance and promoting Social governance work has achieved remarkable results.This thesis consists of four main sections.The first section is the introduction,which clarifies the basic situation of the study of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on social governance,mainly cover background and significance of the study,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,research train of thought and research methods.The second chapter account for the theoretical sources and social-historical conditions of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on social governance.Firstly,it defines the concepts of "social management" and "social governance" and clarifies the scope of the study;secondly,it discusses that the world is undergoing a major change that has not been seen in a century,the comprehensive deepening of reform has entered a deep water and difficult area,and the main contradictions in society have changed historically.The main contradictions have undergone historic changes,causing new situations and new problems to emerge in society.Based on this,Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the construction of social governance and puts forward a series of new ideas,new perspectives and new assertions.Once again,the theories of social construction by classic Marxist writers and theories of social management by successive leaders of the Communist Party of China have been sorted out to provide theoretical support for Xi Jinping’s important discourse on social governance.In addition,Xi Jinping’s important discourse on social governance cannot be separated from the influence and inspiration of the social governance philosophy of the excellent Chinese tradition,while Xi Jinping fully draws on the useful theoretical achievements of social governance in Western countries.Finally,this important discussion is also based on Xi Jinping’s personal experience of long-term grassroots exploration with the new practice of social construction in China since the 18 th Party Congress.Chapter 3 discusses the main contents of Xi Jinping’s important thesis on social governance,including the goal of people-centered social governance,the standard of social governance to enhance the "four levels",the construction of a social governance system with the participation of multiple subjects,and the creation of a social governance pattern of co-construction,co-management and sharing.The fourth chapter introduces the values of Xi Jinping’s important discussions on social governance.Theoretically,it inherits Marxist social construction thought,develops Chinese Marxist social construction thought,and enriches China’s thought of social governance with characteristics in the new era;in practice,it enhances the leadership and social governance of the CPC,advances the national governance system and governance capacity,and contains the Chinese solution to the difficult problems of social governance. |
