A Study On The Cultivation Of Volunteer Service Spirit Of Primary And Middle School Students In The New Era

The spirit of voluntary service,with "dedication,fraternity,mutual assistance and progress" as its connotation,is an important part of the spirit of The Times with reform and opening up as its core.The report to the Party’s 20 th National Congress clearly pointed out that we should raise the level of civilization in the whole society,carry forward the spirit of struggle in the whole society,and cultivate a new style and appearance of The Times.As the hope of the nation and the future of the motherland,the moral cultivation and civilization of primary and secondary school students occupy a special position and play a key role in the cause of the Party and the state and social life.Therefore,strengthening the cultivation of the spirit of volunteer service of primary and secondary school students in the new era cannot be ignored.Through guiding and cultivating the voluntary service spirit of primary and middle school students,it can help improve the moral quality of primary and middle school students,enhance their practical ability,and promote the integration of ideological and political courses.Through the investigation and interview of 5 primary and middle schools in Shijiazhuang area of Hebei Province,it is found that the cultivation of primary and middle school students’ volunteer spirit has begun to achieve some results.The specific performance is as follows:primary and middle school students in the new era have improved their recognition of the spirit of volunteer service,which can be reflected in major activities;Parents’ awareness of fostering volunteer service spirit has been enhanced.But there are still some problems that need to be focused on,such as students’ weak awareness of volunteer service and lack of initiative;Primary and secondary schools lack necessary volunteer skills training;Student volunteer service lacks incentive mechanism and rights and interests protection.According to the current problems in cultivating the spirit of volunteer service of primary and middle school students,through field research and data analysis,it is concluded that cultivating the spirit of volunteer service of primary and middle school students should start from four aspects: social environment,school education,family education and personal cultivation.In terms of social environment,the society should play the role of guarantee,improve the guarantee system,strengthen the organization management,improve the incentive mechanism;In terms of school education,schools should play the role of the main front,take classroom as the main channel,take volunteer service activities as the carrier,let the volunteer service spirit infiltrate the campus,into the brain into the heart;On the family level,the family should play its basic role in the cultivation of volunteer service spirit,create a good family atmosphere,and cooperate with school education to form home-school co-education.Personally speaking,primary and secondary school students should play their main role in cultivating the spirit of voluntary service,establish the correct cognition of the spirit of voluntary service,cultivate the ideal and faith of contributing to the society,develop the behavior habit of integrating knowledge and practice,establish the correct ideology and concept in social life,practice the correct code of conduct,internalize the socialist core values in the mind and externalize in the practice.
