With the rapid development of the society and our country’s community construction progress, people’s attention to community education increases gradually. Children as an important group living in community, especially the primary and middle school students who are at the important stage of growth, how to carry on the community education to them to promote their healthy growth and development, has gotten the wide attention of people. Social work rises and gets some development in our country in recent years, so how to use professional methods of social work for the primary and middle school students in community education has become an important research subject.At present, most scholars take on their study of community education mainly from the mode of education, curriculum development and other aspects. But with the development of social work in our country, how to combine social work with community education of primary and middle school students, it needs further research and discussion. This study selected G community in Guangzhou city C Street which is of poor economic conditions and lack of infrastructure as survey sites to survey the primary and middle school students’ learning and living needs, then used teamwork as main intervention method to discuss the feasible scheme of community education for primary and middle school students.According to the actual needs of community primary and middle school students and combining the theory of social learning and socialization theory, the community education activity was designed and carried out. The activity was aimed at primary and middle school students’learning and life two aspects, and life was divided into two aspects of entertainment and interpersonal communication. Learning and entertainment aspects were mainly in the form of informal group, while interpersonal communication was carried out in the form of a formal group. At the end of the activity, all team members completed activity assessment questionnaire and some team members accepted the interview.According to the data of the assessment questionnaire and the analysis of the interviews, the community education activity provided the members learning support and stimulated their interest in learning; enriched their holiday life and exercised their practice ability and improved the consciousness of cooperation at the same time which could help members to adopt a positive attitude to life; improved their ability of interpersonal communication, thus promoted the improvement of the primary and middle school students’ comprehensive quality. Thus, this article put forward some suggestions and countermeasures about social work intervention of the community education of primary and middle school students, first of all is to learn more about primary and middle school students’ real needs, and combining with the characteristics of community, then design activities; second, to increase investment in the resources of the community education of primary and middle school students, make full use of existing resources, vigorously explore potential resources, and actively introduce external resources; the last is to improve the level of specialization of social workers, set up the correct ideas and cultivate the recognition of the value, pay attention to the use of the work methods and the master of work skills, improve the quality of social workers and continuously optimize evaluation work.
