Research On The Theory And Practice Of Democratic Socialism In Northern Europe

Nordic democratic socialism has distinctive characteristics.This has aroused widespread concern worldwide.The in-depth study and evaluation of its theory and practice has far-reaching political and practical significance for adhering to the socialist democratic political path with Chinese characteristics.Based on a systematic review of existing research and practical achievements at home and abroad,this article comprehensively analyzes and evaluates the theoretical system and practical models of democratic socialism in Northern Europe.This paper systematically sorts out the process of the formation and development of democratic socialism.The paper briefly introduces the rise and development of democratic socialism in Northern Europe,and summarizes the basic value principles of democratic socialism in Northern Europe,namely,democracy,freedom,equality,and unity.A detailed explanation of the five characteristics of Nordic democratic socialism is given,mainly including the concept of "people’s home",progressive social reformism,political compromise and class cooperation,mixed economic theory,and social welfare construction theory.This paper systematically studies the practice of the Nordic Social Democratic Party in three aspects: mixed economy,class cooperation,and welfare system construction,and systematically analyzes the practice of Swedish democratic socialism from three stages :welfare socialism,functional socialism,and fund socialism.The author believes that the practice of democratic socialism in Northern Europe has promoted the sustainable development of the economy and society in Northern Europe,formed a unique Nordic welfare state model,and accumulated experience and lessons for the peaceful transformation of capitalism.Starting from the standpoint of Marxism and the Nordic Social Democratic Party,this paper analyzes the essence of progressive improved capitalism in Nordic democratic socialism,and points out the significant differences between it and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics from the perspectives of guiding ideology,social system and demands,economic system,party nature and status,and party system.Finally,this paper evaluates the theory and practice of Nordic democratic socialism in order to have a more profound understanding and understanding of Nordic democratic socialism.
